Born and raised in Jersey, Channel Islands, Rich Allo discovered his love for music through the melodic geniuses of Queen, David Bowie, U2 and Keane.

His pop-rock sound echoes their signature styles through larger-than-life vocals, anthemic choruses and candid lyrics delving into mental health, life journeys, the pursuit of dreams and relationships.

Although a passionate multi-instrumentalist, Rich is first and foremost a singer. His soaring vocals convey the highs and lows of what it means to be human, drawing on his own experiences of personal triumph and trauma.

A period of anxiety and depression in Rich's teenage years prompted him to start writing songs which formed the basis for his debut studio album. ‘Sensations’, written and recorded both in Jersey and London, achieved success in 2018 with the help of singles including the 80s-inspired title track and poignant ballad ‘Life Song’.

Shortly after his first release, Rich began working on his second album ‘Strangest Sin’. This saw him pushing his sound into the edgier genres of indie and hard rock, best demonstrated on tracks like ‘Halls of Paradise’, which recently reached over 17,900 streams on Spotify.

Once released in 2019, Rich embarked on a series of big promotional shows that included Jersey Weekender, Channel Islands Pride and the renowned Fighting Cocks Bar in Kingston upon Thames, London.

Rich's latest album “How To Not Fall Apart” (2021) tackles his exhaustive battle with his mental health in 2019, both through explosive guitar anthems and tender piano ballads.

While most of his live shows have been hosted in his hometown, for instance at Jersey Weekender 2018, Channel Islands 2021 and The Blue Note Bar, Rich has started to bring his honest and compelling catalogue to the UK and beyond in 2022.

In addition to his personal shows, Rich is also available for weddings, birthday parties and corporate and charity events. All weddings are booked through Music Managed, which you can visit here. Otherwise please use the contact form below.
